injuries & health concerns
-
If you have an injury or health concern, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before joining class. We also encourage you to share any limitations with your instructor so they can offer safe modifications throughout the session.
For a more medical or therapeutic Pilates experience—like working with an injury or specific rehabilitation—we absolutely recommend beginning with private sessions with a dedicated practitioner who specializes in that area.
While that's not the focus of our group studio, we're huge believers in doing what's best for your body! We'd be happy to point you toward some excellent colleagues who provide that specific one-on-one care.
-
We’re excited to be exploring more specialized class options—such as pre and postnatal offerings. Follow us on social media or join our newsletter to be the first to know when they launch!
-
To ensure the utmost safety for you and your baby, we have a few important protocols in place:
Medical Clearance: We require written medical clearance from your obstetrician (OB) or family doctor before you can join any Reformer or Mat Pilates classes. This note should confirm that Pilates is safe for you during your pregnancy.
In-App Disclosure: Once you have your clearance, please disclose your pregnancy and complete the specific waiver via our app. This helps us ensure our records are up-to-date.
Let Your Instructor Know: We also encourage you to quietly let your instructor know before class begins. This allows them to provide you with the right modifications and dedicated support throughout your session.
Your safety and well-being are our highest priority. These steps help us create the best and most supportive experience for you. We can't wait to move with you!
class scheduling & studio policy
-
Booking your spot is simple:
Create an Account & Get Credits: Head to our website to create your account and purchase a membership, a class pack, or a single class credit.
Download Our App (Optional but Handy!): For the easiest booking experience, download the Valeō Pilates app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can manage your bookings right from your phone!
Reserve Your Spot: Once you're set up, simply browse our schedule on the website or in the app and select the class time that works best for you!
-
Our instructors and class schedules may occasionally change. For the most up-to-date information, we recommend checking the Valeō class schedule regularly.
-
To get the most out of your class, we recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early to settle in. For safety and to minimize disruptions, studio doors lock 10 minutes after class begins. If you arrive after this time, you won’t be able to join the class and your credit will be forfeited.
billing & class packages
-
Our booking system accepts secure payments from all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Visa Debit.
-
All Valeō classes, credit packages, memberships, workshops, special events, and gift cards are final sale and are not refundable or transferable.
-
To keep your class credit, we kindly ask that you cancel at least 8 hours before your class. Please cancel as soon as you know you can't make it!
Late cancellations (within 8 hours) will forfeit the credit, and a no-show will result in a $10 fee. This policy helps us manage our waitlist fairly so everyone has a chance to join our popular classes.

ask us anything
-
Reformer Pilates is a dynamic full-body workout performed on a specialized piece of equipment called the reformer. It’s designed to build strength, improve flexibility, enhance balance, and support better coordination—all in one empowering practice.
-
Reformer Pilates emphasizes time under tension and smooth, controlled movements. With regular practice, you’ll notice improved strength, mobility, flexibility, and even an uplifted mood—along with many other benefits.
-
Joseph Pilates first developed his method, then called Contrology, during WWI while in an internment camp. He attached springs to hospital beds to help patients exercise without standing. That early invention eventually evolved into the reformer machines we use in studios today.
-
Mat Pilates uses minimal equipment and focuses on bodyweight exercises performed on the mat.
Reformer Pilates, on the other hand, adds resistance through the reformer machine, creating a dynamic progression that’s both challenging and accessible for a wide range of practitioners.
-
Classical Pilates follows Joseph Pilates’ original method, focusing on his precise sequencing, control, and technique.
Contemporary Pilates builds on this foundation, often incorporating props like balls, rings, or weights, and using music to create a group-fitness experience.
At Valeō, we bring a contemporary twist to the classical method for a practice that’s both rooted and refreshing.
